Rev. Clarissa South-Holland, Pastor
Rev. South-Holland began her ministry at the Whiting United Methodist Church on July 1, 2015. Rev. Holland comes to Whiting from the Green Village United Methodist Church where she has served as pastor for the past 12 years. She has also served at the Chatham UMC and the Broadway-Montana UM Churches. Rev. Holland also worked as a chaplain at Hagedorn Gero-Psychiatric Hospital in Glen Gardner. In addition to her local church ministry, she is a member of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, the gatekeeping agency that oversees the admission, service and retirement of clergy in the New Jersey Area. She has held office in numerous conference boards and agenciesl. Rev. Holland has been privileged to participate in mission trips to Haiti, China, and Malawi, Africa.
Rev. South- Holland is happily married to Dr. E. Tom Holland, a retired family physician and geriatrician. They have 2 daughters.

Mrs. Jupinka is the friendly voice on the other end of your phone and emails. Gina’s skill, patience, and empathy help coordinate the variety of ministries at W.U.M.C. and keep our church office running with warmth and efficiency.
June Pfeifer, Choir Director Organist
June Pfeifer joined the Whiting Team in 2005. Raised in a musical family, June is a master organist and has been a much sought after organist in central New Jersey. June draws us into worship on the Allan 2110 pipe-less organ, conducts the chancel choir, and inspires the congregation with a rich appreciation of classical and contemporary composers and hymnists.
John Quintella, Custodian
John Quintella is responsible for the physical upkeep and maintenance of the building. If the facilities look good it’s due to John’s conscientious service.
